TMA Background
The Downtown Transportation Management Association (TMA) is here to provide employers with ideas and solutions to ease congestion, reduce pollution and improve the commute experience. As a part of Central AtlantaProgress and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, the Downtown TMA provides commuter incentives, public education and other benefits specific to your worksite while encouraging transportation alternatives, infrastructure improvements and representing members’ concerns at local, regional and statewide planning levels.

Segway Human Transporter CAP/ADID has been participating in a Segway Pilot Project, using the The Segway HT, the first self-balancing, electric-powered transportation device.

Discounted Transit Pass Program Take advantage of the 8% discount currently offered by MARTA to corporate partners. Other transit system passes available. Incentives for Employers and Employees Incentives are available to help ease your transition from driving alone to an alternative form of transportation. Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH), a program of Commute Connections, offers an emergency ride home to users of alternative transportation. Bicycle and Pedestrian Programs Get to Downtown without a motor, by biking or walking.
